Regional Wholesaler of the Year (UK, Europe, USA & APAC)

Open to independent wholesalers supplying professional hair products within the UK, Europe, USA or APAC regions. Businesses entered must demonstrate active professional trade relationships, market presence and support for salons or independent brands during the eligibility period.

Winning this award positions your business among the most trusted wholesale partners within the professional hair industry, reinforcing credibility, reliability and professional value. It provides a powerful platform to strengthen existing relationships, attract new trade opportunities and highlight the role your business plays in supporting salons, professionals and independent brands across your region. Winners will also be invited to join the judging panel for The Indies - Salon & Stylist Awards UK.

• A written submission outlining your wholesale approach, professional positioning and market impact.

• Evidence of relevant brands, number of customers and how.

• Evidence of customer reach, professional partnerships, product offering or industry engagement within the selected region.

• Supporting materials including retailer relationships, campaigns, education, events or wholesale activity relevant to the eligibility period. Future direction and plans for continued growth or regional expansion may also be included.

• All activity must relate to the period 1 May 2025 – 30 April 2026.

How This Category Will Be Judged

Entries will first be reviewed based on the written submission, supporting evidence and overall impact within the professional hair industry. Judges will consider reliability, accessibility, customer support, industry relationships and the wholesaler’s role in supporting salons, stylists and independent brands within their region.

As this is a regional award, entries will be judged against others within their selected market across the UK, Europe, USA or APAC, with an individual winner recognised within each region.

Judges may also consider product offering, professional engagement, education support, service standards, digital presence and the overall experience provided to professionals and salon businesses.

To keep the process fair and independent, entries may be reviewed across multiple judging stages by different members of the judging panel.

This category is not open to conglomerate-owned or publicly listed companies. Venture-backed businesses are permitted, provided they operate independently within the professional market. Businesses not actively supplying the professional salon industry or without a physical presence within the selected region will not be considered.

To protect the integrity of the awards, all judges are required to declare any professional, commercial or personal relationships with entrants prior to scoring. Any judge with a declared conflict of interest will not be permitted to review, discuss or score the relevant entry or category.

Entry Recommendations

Strong entries should clearly demonstrate the wholesaler’s impact within their selected region and the way they support salons, stylists and professional brands day to day. Judges are looking for wholesalers providing reliable service, strong industry relationships, accessibility and real value to the professional hair community within their market.

Supporting salon partnerships, educational activity, campaigns, digital platforms, customer engagement, service initiatives and examples of professional industry impact are strongly encouraged. Don’t forgot to mention the team, its customer service and images of your set up.
