Regional Brand Ambassador of the Year (UK, Europe, USA, APAC)

Open to professional ambassadors affiliated with independent brands operating within the UK, Europe, USA or APAC regions. Entrants must demonstrate active industry presence, audience engagement and ongoing professional activity within their selected region during the eligibility period.

Winning this award positions you among the ambassadors helping shape the professional hair industry within your region, reinforcing credibility, visibility and professional influence. It provides a powerful platform to strengthen audience connection, support future opportunities and highlight the value of the work you do representing both your brand and the wider professional community. Winners will also be invited to join the judging panel for The Indies - Salon & Stylist Awards UK.

• A written submission outlining your ambassador role, professional positioning and regional industry impact.

• Evidence of audience engagement, education activity, professional influence or brand representation within the selected region.

• Supporting materials including stage work, campaigns, education, social content or professional activity relevant to the eligibility period. Future direction and plans for continued growth or industry impact may also be included.

• All activity must relate to the period 1 May 2025 – 30 April 2026.

How This Category Will Be Judged

Entries will first be reviewed based on the written submission, supporting evidence and overall impact within the professional hair industry. Judges will consider professional presence, audience engagement, education, industry influence and the ambassador’s ability to represent their brand consistently within their region.

As this is a regional award, entries will be judged against others within their selected market across the UK, Europe, USA or APAC, with an individual winner recognised within each region.

Judges may also consider community connection, digital presence, stage work, salon support and the overall impact the ambassador has had within the professional industry across their region.

To keep the process fair and independent, entries may be reviewed across multiple judging stages by different members of the judging panel.

This category is not open to ambassadors representing conglomerate-owned or publicly listed companies. Entrants without active professional engagement or ongoing ambassador activity within the selected region during the eligibility period will not be considered.

To protect the integrity of the awards, all judges are required to declare any professional, commercial or personal relationships with entrants prior to scoring. Any judge with a declared conflict of interest will not be permitted to review, discuss or score the relevant entry or category.
